In my local community and in my experience, addiction and substance abuse is a problem. This is especially evident in teens and young adults. This problem is such an important intrigue because someone knows someone who is affected by this. Sociology has found that everyone is 6 ticks away. Meaning everyone is connected by 6 people. Thus, the fact that everyone in one way or another has run into, experienced or dealt with substance abuse at some point in their lives. My CRQ is “What has enabled teen substance abuse, and how can society take steps to prevent it.”
