Research has and will continue to be an important part of my life. I never truly appreciated and understood the importance of it until I began speech and debate. The excitement of finding that perfect piece of information was always a rush to me. Writing and Research are in a sort of codependent relationship; one exists for the other. The hours spent in the library and on the computer in these past years have been insurmountable. It seems like this cause and my previous experiences with research are similar. Although the steps and techniques will no doubt differ, and I’m confident that I will learn more and advance my understanding and skills in research.
